Brent Whitney was my first friend in NYC. He says I was his too. I met him at Steps on Broadway in the summer of 2007, and we have been through so much together… but nothing like the Traverse City Dance Project!
This July, five years after our first meeting, Brent and I are teaming up to bring a group of 10 amazing dancers to create, investigate… and sweat! The result will be a performance of 4 exciting works, including 2 world premieres. Choreographers include myself, Brent, Australian-born and Hong Kong-based choreographer John Utans, and Mauro de Candia, recent winner of GENESIS, Milwaukee Ballet’s International Choreographic Competition.
WE ARE EXCITED. Check out these links to join in the adventure with us!
